Versatile telephoto lens with high light intensity
With a slight telephoto focal length on APS-C, the 50mm compact lens for mirrorless system cameras and versatile use and is particularly suitable for portrait and landscape shots. In particular, shots in low light or images with shallow depth of field can be realized thanks to a high light intensity - F1: 1,2 - ideal. With an angle of about 31 °, the lens achieves images from a natural perspective. The aperture can be adjusted from 1.2 to 16 and the focus adjustment is soft and smooth.

High quality optics
The lens has a shutter with 9 blades, which allows an almost circular opening and thus guarantee a beautiful bokeh. A particularly high-quality optical construction of 9 multi-coated glass lenses achieves excellent imaging results. In addition, 2 aspheric lenses ensure the best possible correction of chromatic aberrations. Lateral scattered light and lens reflections prevent a lens hood, which can be removed if necessary. The robust lens is internally focused, which does not change the overall length of the optics. Focusing is done manually.

Using an APS-C lens on a full-frame camera
Lenses designed for cameras with APS-C sensor can be used partially (mainly using an adapter) on cameras with full-format sensor. Due to the much smaller image circle of APS-C lenses, the edges are black. The usable range of the image photographed with a full-frame camera thus corresponds to that of a camera with APS-C sensor. The images must therefore be trimmed in the post. Using APS-C lenses on full-frame cameras is possible, but not recommended.
