Walimex pro Daylight 250
Our top seller is transportable due to its low weight and ready for use within a few seconds. The popular daylight system is suitable for portrait and product photography. Thanks to the removable diffuser, soft as well as hard light characteristics can be realized. In addition, our regular lighting system can be equipped with other light sources from our range by means of a common E27 socket, for example, to obtain more light output by means of a higher lamp power. Our set consisting of two lamps and tripods allows for a relaxed soar climb into the world of photo- and videography.
Continuous light in the application
Continuous light sources are equally suitable for photographers and videofilmers, as they allow a direct assessment of light and light intensity. Constant light can also easily be integrated into other light colors, as well as artificial and natural light sources, since the photographer or the videofilmer is able to flexibly adjust the ratio to ambient light.
For beginners, continuous light is very suitable as continuous light can be assessed more easily. The artist is here able to work dynamically and playfully and to concentrate fully on the "light setting". Recordings with a wide aperture such as portraits, harmonious still lifes and dynamic video sequences are easily realized.
Color and light shapers
Daylights generate a bright, white light, similar to daylight. With a CRI value of over 83 and a color temperature of approx. 5400 Kelvin, our Daylights ensure a very good color reproduction. In order to model the light of the situation, there are a number of light shapers for our daylights which offer the desired effect depending on the situation. The fluorescent lamps are not adjustable in their intensity, so we have developed a step-based solution for systems with several lamps, with which lamps can be switched on or off as required.
Lighting strength
Fluorescent lamps are far more efficient than conventional incandescent lamps, the Watt output says little about the actual light output. Therefore, the performance of our daylights is expressed in lumens (lm), lux and as a comparison to conventional incandescent lamps.
E27 version
The daylight spirals of our Daylights are designed to be screwed into a common E27 socket. Through our special E27 sockets, it is also possible to mount the construction on a tripod and to provide different light shapers.
For more flexibility
Thanks to the two-color coating, the basis for the release and digital post-processing on the PC can already be created during recording. This makes you more flexible in your work. A horizontal as well as vertical insert is possible by means of attached ring loops on the background frame.

The two-color background is ideal for photo and video work, in order to integrate backgrounds into the picture digitally. The background is used in portrait as well as in product photography as well as video.
High quality
The folding background is of excellent quality. Its sewn extra-strong spring ring guarantees a smooth and wrinkle-free background surface. The reflector can be assembled in seconds by means of a folding mechanism. The flexible metal frame keeps the reflector always tensioned. Ring loops on the background frame allow attachment to support systems or background systems. A supplied bag is used for stowing and transporting the folding background and at the same time protects against dirt.
